Very nice, friendly, and of good value. I have stayed at this hostel many times over a 4 year period whilst travelling around China. Dorms are a little more than the advertised price on this page, but still cheap. Twin and double rooms are very cheap compared to any other place in good locations like this. The only expensive thing is the 'tour office' and internet cafe. But the staff speak english and are helpful.

Forget the rates, and instead enjoy this hostel's special atmosphere. When we stayed here, we were the only tourists — all the other guests were Chinese — and there was a very relaxing atmosphere. This hostel has nice and kindly people. I look forward to my next visit.

This is a sh*t hostel. The rates listed here are a damn lie. The people here charge more than that.
