Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
5  Great! I was hosted here after being left alone by a woman in what become a great vacation, Dion (the host) was great! more than five stars!  , Guatemala ()
5  We felt as though we stayed in the lap of luxury while we were here. There was only one other traveller at the time and we had a whole floor to ourselves. The home has high ceilings, beautiful wood floors and a large kitchen. The bed was big and comfortable and we woke up to freshly baked cookies. Muizenburg is a great place to stay between the city center and the Cape of Good Hope. Stay here, you won't be disappointed  ()
5  We stayed here during our round-the-world trip. We stayed in many hostels during the year, but the Amberley really stood out. A really exceptional hostel.  ()
5  Amberley became our home away from home while we were in the vicinity of Cape Town. In all, we spent twelve nights at the Amberley guesthouse and had time to develop a genuine friendship with Dion, the intelligent and interesting (if not entirely eccentric)guesthouse host. We also enjoyed meeting a more experienced set of travelers, some who, like us, used this guesthouse as a superb gateway to other destinations as well as a hub from which to launch many day trips in the Cape Town area. The hostel was charming, while being well cared for and clean. Because it has only a dozen or so beds, you are ensured a bit of quiet and calm, quite befitting the atmosphere Dion has helped create. You'll love Amberley.  ()
