3  This place has a reasonably good location and a pretty great vibe, but it certainly didn't rate against some of the other hostels we'd stayed at along the Garden Route. The only power outlet in our room didn't work properly, every shower seemed to be a cold shower, the toilets were often clogged (as was one of the sinks), only one blanket was allocated to each dorm and we weren't able to lock our room. Some of the staff are quite great though.  ()
5  I visited last week and it was fantastic, and I would strongly recommend it. It's the best hostel we stayed in South Africa. It has a fun and lively atmosphere, and it's run by young people. It was so good we changed our plans and stayed an extra night. Stay here!!  ()
4  Though this hostel is a bit on the shabby side, the staff are really friendly. They organized a braii (South African barbecue) every night and we met some cool people this way!! I'd recommend it.  ()
