I stayed at this place in December 2003. It was cheap but very dirty, and the bedding smelt very bad. Worse, I was supposed to get a fifty- percent refund of my money because I did not stay for the duration of my booking there, but to this day I have not received my refund. Its 10 months since I stayed there, but to date (Oct. 14, 2004) I have not received anything. Every time I have asked the KZN Tourism to assist me, they too have not been helpful.

When I stayed there it was probably the cheapest hostel in the area, but it was very crummy and dirty and disorganised. The rooms were tiny and only a few of the rooms had balcony views. The most annoying thing was there was a neverending supply of people who wanted to borrow money. One of the guys there stole money from me and then had the cheek to ask me to take him to the airport.
