As their advert states, this is a fantastic alternative to the inner city hostels. It has a wicked, well stocked, intimate bar, a sparkling pool, a braii facility, internet access, loads of travel books, novels & magazines for a chilled time, a tv room, and a great kitchen.
Its about a 15 minute walk, along leafy roads, to the train station, so you can jump on the train and visit all the cool places along the coast. Its a very good safe base to explore from.
The huge ultra modern claremont shopping center is just across the road from the train station, so you can do all your boutique shopping.
And to top it all you can catch the rugby/cricket at Newlands.
There are also a couple of upmarket bars and restaurants not to far away, which are great for checking out the beautiful people in this upmarket, groovy suburb.
But most of all, two great owners, Alun and Susan, who have heaps of interesting information, which they will gladly impart, to help you get the most out of your trip.
Recommended.
