Hi there !
I spent three nights at Bunrower House in 1999 and really enjoyed it. You sleep in bunks there, made of wood and all places are in an aceptable way clean - good enough for backpackers I'd say ;o)
A big advantage is the place where Bunrower is: 10 min. walk away from the busy and smelly town, nearby Ross Castle and the seas. People were very friendly and I hired a bike for one day to cycle around the middle Lake. I LOVED IT but I was almost eaten by the midges...*bzzzz*
