Safe and Quiet An undiscovered Jewel. Very peaceful and quiet. Great staff. Love the park and a short bike ride to the beach. Even great on a stormy night. amazing how an old military building can be transformed into a friendly and comfortable space. — John & Karen , Canada (2010-10-09) Great Please don't be afraid to visit this hostel. It is an old Air Force base, and the officer's quarters have been converted into a very nice hostel. It is clean, safe, and comfortable. It is in a quiet location. It is so close to the delightful town of Birch Bay and about ten minutes away from the Birch Bay Water Slides!
