I camped at the Lodge in June of '95 with the "Camp Alaska Tour Co." What great surroundings and accommodations. The owner Tom was great. I still wear the shirt that I bought with the logo. I still hope to go back someday.

I am sorry to hear that Tom is not there anymore. I was there years ago and he was very friendly. His big dogs looked scary at first but they were actually fun. They were gentle giants. The hostel itself was great, nicely furnished and clean.

This lodge was excellent. We came from Australia, booked the lodge on line, and did not know what to expect. It is very rustic, but the owner could not do enough for us. We had an excellent holiday there and met a great number of lovely people from all over the world. We want to visit again next year, but we believe the owner Tom, is not there any more, so we look forward to meeting the new owner when we get over there. All in all, it was one of the most magic of our stays in Alaska in 2002.
