Awsome! Although basic in amenities, it has excellent access to the Buffalo river and Danny is extremely helpful. He will loan you his canoes for no fee, which is great. He and his wife are great cooks. Very laid back area with a unique setting. Its worth stopping for a few days to visit. — Scotty , USA (2010-04-09)

Great place to get away The hostel is in a small town on the buffalo river. The scenic beauty is amazing. The location is wonderful. Danny and Elvie are great hosts. And sometimes offer their food which is really good. The accommodations are basic. The best time to go is during the fall and spring. It does get a little hot during the summer. I enjoy getting away for a weekend every once in a while there. It's a great place to get away. — P (2008-12-03)
Not so Great -- Heat in July/August makes it impossible to sleep The hostel is very good but be warned that it is merely a loft over a public living room with almost no privacy. I stayed the last week in July. Even with fans the heat at night made it almost impossible to sleep. The fans did little help in circulating the air. Danny was very helpful. He offered some of his food to me. — Robert , USA (2008-08-03)

Great Hostel, Beautiful Location! The best part, though, is Danny the owner. I don't think I've ever met a nicer, more laid back hostel owner. — fencermatt , USA (2007-08-29)

Really cool and laid back! Very interesting culture in that part of America. Wish I could stay longer. — Aussie123 (2005-02-26)
