Very nice -- rustic and clean I have been to Keller's, now Shepherd's Inn Retreat Center, many, many times. The outhouse is not a usable one -- the retreat center actually has modern, indoor plumbing with clean bathrooms and showers! Church groups come in to do mission projects on a regular basis, so the place has been remodeled and is kept very clean. I highly recommend -- economical lodging in a beautiful setting -- unbeatable combination! — Marlena , usa (2008-07-15) Had a wonderful time both times Stayed there twice with Chactow baptist Church in Mt Pleasant Tx. My Mother who has gone to be with the Lord and Brother Mike Bowen were the ones to set this up. Enjoyed the Dorm and even met someone whom I went to School with in Texarkana in the 1950's there in 1999 when the passion play got rained out. Wonderful experience. It's a place to get away from television and other distractions that aren't needed, for a time to focus on God or whatever you need. Lots for youth to do for fun.
