Best deal in Vermont. Even the $25/night bunk-bed option was very accommodating. The place is clean, cozy, and relatively quiet, even when sharing accommodations. The private rooms are just as good a bargain. Nothing beats sitting by their huge fireplace and drinking some red wine after a cold day on the slopes. They have wifi, too! One of the friendliest places to stay by any Vermont ski area. Cozy — tastefully furnished, with a common area with a huge fireplace, WiFi and video. Helpful and caring (ex-ski racer) owner, breakfast on weekends. Excellent — inexpensive restaurant across street. A magical place in a snow storm. Shuttle buses (Killington Base area and Skyeship Gondola) out front. There's a bus shuttle from the Rutland Amtrak station (one transfer of shuttle bus required).
