Warning -- bedbugs! We were six students staying at this hostel for four nights in jan 2008 and four of us got a really bad surprise on our return. we left the hostel with a beginning of what would turn out to be bedbugs infection to the skin that was directly in contact with the mattresses and bed sheets. We were all treated for scabies since the doctors weren't sure and went trough a nightmare of a month of scratching and itching. We contacted the hostel owners and they turned us back saying they weren't responsible for that incident, not their problem, and that it's impossible we caught the disease at their hostel. So I do not recommend to anyone unless you want to take the risk and regret it afterwards. — s17 , canada (2008-02-13)

This hostel was the best of all the hostels in Quebec. The personnel are very kind and explain everything to you that you need to know. If you decide to do the tour of Gaspé they also have partners all around the peninsula. The food is very good and we slept very well. It's quiet and the bus picks you up at the hostel to bring you to the park of Gaspesie. This winter they have a hut in the park so my friend and me are going back to ski.
