Great hostel for cycling groups Stayed here with a group of 15 cyclists and the staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Great location, very clean kitchen and dorm rooms, indoor bike storage. A great value and terrific place to stay in Nelson. — ACAsp , USA (2011-08-13) Anything more is a bonus I have returned twice in January and always have had a really pleasant stay. The stay are attentive and friendly, the place and amenities are clean and immaculate plus the rooms are cozy with comfortable beds in the dorms. It has been quiet at night for shut eye, there are plenty of pubs around for a drink. It is located on the main street with the organic coop supermarket just a block away. The washrooms are a bit small, but nothing to complain about. Staff were a little bit aloof, but again, it did not bother us one bit. We had a great night's sleep, and the staff was really friendly. The common area was cozy, with a woodstove and Mission-style furniture. The night we were there, a jam session broke out with bongos and didgeridoos. Cool! I highly recommend this place.
