A wee 'but 'n ben' of a hostel overlooking the Summer Isles, beside a Highland burn and bathed by the deep coloured late evening sunsets. Very close to a secluded beach and flat rocks - ideal for barbies - and framed by the famous ridge of Ben More Coigach. One of the favourites !

Location	By Bus: From Ullapool Mon-Fri: Twice daily Saturday; Mornings only Sunday: NO SERVICE Operated by Spa Coaches (01997) 421311 By Train: Closest train station is Garve - 50 miles away. By Car: Turn off the A835 Ullapool - Ledmore road at Drumrunie. Follow signs for Achiltibuie. Continue through Achiltibuie, Polglass, and Badenscallie. Hostel car park is roughly 300 yds beyond Badenscallie. Hostel well signed and visible from the road; roughly 300 yds down rough track On Foot: The 'Postie's Path' or 'Rock Route' from Blughasary is NOT RECOMMENDED due to serious path degradation. Other hill routes can be taken by experienced walkers, notably over Ben Mor Coigach.

Location was great - absolutely middle of nowhere in Highlands with the closest internet point in 20 miles (about an hour on a mix of single carriage and single track way). Beautiful views and cosy rooms. Disliked - lack of tea/breakfast facilities, and lack of informing about that.
