This place is in dire need of some fresh linens. Not only were there two holes (about the size of a quarter) in the lower sheet of the bed, but several in the top as well. I woke up with my big toe stuck in one. Not to mention the holes in the bath towels as well. The carpet has few spots which aren't stained and threadbare. Killed a giant cockroach in the bathroom. The water pipes make a horrendous noise anytime you or the neighbouring rooms decide to turn on the tap or shower. However, they do have friendly staff. Airconditioning in rooms. Spacious enough room and bath. If you are looking for cheap and don't mind a run down place, this is your spot. A minor bit of renovating and some fresh linens would certainly make a difference.

This was a great place to stay! The rooms were lovely, food brilliant and the staff very friendly and it is close to town as well!

If you are given a room at the front of the hostel you shouldn't bother going to bed! It is the noisiest place I have ever stayed in. The (very bright!) street lights are on all night and this together with 'see through' curtains means you can't sleep. You would be better off dossing in the metro if you can! The food was ok, though if you are not too fussy.

Lovely rooms and a friendly welcome. The owners are great people and do everything possible to make your stay a memorable one. I would recommend the Red Parrot to ALL my friends!!!

Very friendly atmosphere. Smashing people and rooms clean and inviting. Prices are very reasonable indeed. Chris is sound; as are all the staff!!!

Absolutely fantastic. I got a warm friendly welcome, and it was very clean and reasonably priced. The restaurant was excellent. I would make this my first choice above the other hotels in the Costa del Sol. It in a perfect location, very central, so in the height of the season it may not suit the elderly or people with young children.
