Like being a guest in a friend's house. Stewart Island has a strong feeling of the past and Jo and Andy's reflects that. Crochet rugs on the bed, books floor to ceiling, wood stove. The beds were comfy, breakfast huge, and conversation interesting!

This hostel has very special hosts, extremely friendly people and a dream of a library. It's very recommendable. Andy does certificated massage, which is also highly recommendable.
