This is a small friendly, eco hostel located within Dartmoor National Park in the village of Moretonhampstead, 14 miles west of Exeter.A beautifully converted stone stable, with fully equipped kitchen, great solar heated showers, and a sunny courtyard.
High open moorland and sheltered wooded valleys are close by. Ideal for cycling,mountain biking,hiking,climbing,canoeing or just chilling.
Wide entrance for kayaks and bikes.
Magnificent Tors, stone circles and burial sites of ancient civilizations together with wild ponies,buzzards,flora and fauna,are all here to be explored within the 400sq.miles of Dartmoor.
Moretonhampstead village has a few shops,cafes,pubs,and in summer an outdoor solar heated swimming pool.
Frequent direct bus (359) from Exeter.
Two cycle routes-Dartmoor Way, CTC End2End.There are also many footpaths leading to Moretonhampstead.
