Hostelz.com's Review
Mango Chill is an excellent place to stay in Puerto Iguazu. It provides one of the best breakfasts we have seen in Argentina; coffee, tea, juice, bread and spreads, cake, lentils, rice, sausage, and fruit are all included with a night's stay. The hostel organizes group dinners for a fee just about every night. No outside alcohol is permitted; however, cocktails and bottles of wine are sold here. Strong Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel, including the bedrooms, and there are plenty of charging points. The hostel staff can provide all information needed to see Iguazu Falls on both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides.

The Location

Mango Chill is extremely well located, a stone's throw from the main bus terminal. It is a five-minute walk to the center of town. There is a twenty-four-hour bakery/food shop right up the street and all of the shops, bars, and restaurants of the town are within short walking distance.

Rooms and Bathrooms

There is a giant, sixteen-bed mixed dorm as well as five-bed dorms that are both mixed and all-female. The larger dorm is a gigantic room that does not feel cramped despite the large number of beds. There are two air conditioning units and three full bathrooms right inside the room. The mattresses, pillows, and bedding are comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. The bathrooms are spacious with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Soap is provided at the sinks. There are no lockers provided and the large dorm room is not kept locked.

Common Spaces

There are places to hang out all over the hostel. The front room has tables (including chess tables) and chairs. There are covered, outdoor areas with seating and a pool table. There is a covered pavilion with a TV and a large pool area. There is no shortage of places to "chill" at Mango Chill. The hostel is lively and social, but not a crazy party hostel. There is a great vibe and it is very easy to meet other travelers, though also it is easy to get a good, quiet night's sleep. There is a kitchen at the hostel, though it is not available for guest use.

Overall, Mango Chill is an excellent choice of hostel in Puerto Iguazu. The location and atmosphere cannot be beat.
