5  Outstanding location with a welcoming staff I have visited the Truro Hostel five times over the years -- all of which have been with small church youth groups on cycling retreats. I was saddened to learn that the hostel is no longer open to groups. The setting provided great opportunity to do beach exploration with evening campfires on the beach while putting us in a reasonable location to bike to Provincetown. I suppose there have been groups that have dominated the setting, which is inappropriate. But the restriction now impacts others who will never get the opportunity. Still, it is a terrific setting that I would highly recommend.  , USA ()
5  Friendly, ideal place to be up at the Cape! We stayed here for five nights in early August and the days just flew by! The hostel had everything that a typical hostel should have. A large social room with many sofas, a nice big porch out front, a large kitchen with pretty much everything you'd need to make a great meal (they didn't have a pizza cutter roller though). And when you want to hit the beach, they even have a bunch of chairs and umbrellas available for you to borrow, although a number of umbrellas weren't exactly in great shape so check em out before you bring em out to the beach. This was my third time there in the last four years and that place never failed to impress me.  , USA ()
3  A lovely location, though I was totally unprepared for the isolation! If memory serves me, it's a 20-minute hike to the nearest store, and the hostel was closed during the day (like 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or something). Other than that, perfectly relaxing!  ()
4  Location, location, location! This hostel is located in a perfect Cape Cod setting. The building is great.  ()
5  Even in the rain, this place was charming. The beach is beautiful, and this place is very remote. This is not a party hostel, but it certainly is very friendly and relaxing. The co-ed and male dorms are in the basement--a bit stuffy, but the female rooms upstairs are fantastic. The bathrooms a slightly cramped, but generally clean. The staff were what made my stay such a hit! I will return next season!  ()
4  This is a great place, and the people are really friendly. It has a very large kitchen and a cozy common room and front porch. It's in a very private location, away from it all (you need transportation, but they'll pick you up in a pinch). The season opens late and closes early, because it's a school during the school year.  ()
4  The location is just great, next to the beach and the sand dunes. From one of the dorm rooms you can see the sea! The furniture is a little old fashioned; there is no internet connection and the phone wasn't working. But the staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a nice place to stay, but you need to have your own transportation (either bike or car) to get there.  ()
5  All the Cape Cod hostels are really clean and nice...but you can actually see the sun rise over the atlantic from the bedroom window upstairs....and sometimes even whales!!  ()
