Comment by Rodney
October 2004
This place was the rudest, crudest, baddest hillbilly dive in redneck heaven. That's why I used to like it so much. I had the whole dorm to myself because nobody would ever stay there, ha ha. It was so loud. The metal bunks and the locks on the lockers would rattle like crazy. There were college kids yelling outside till 3 a.m. every night! (The hostel was directly on top of a nightclub!) But there was plenty of hot water, big bathtubs, and cheap beer. What else could a dirty hobo want? Now they've closed this hostel! Drat! There were probably too many complaints from snotty European yuppie kids! Hey! There was nothing a good pair of earplugs and a shot of cheap wine couldn't fix.
From Rocco Rodney — the rude rug rat.
