Although I did not come prepared with hiking equipment and a sleeping bag which is what they usually get here. I was quite touched by the kindness of Emma, who met me at the hostel and gave me the goods to stay warm for the night. I regret that I wasn't able to stay longer as it was the most peaceful setting I have yet to experience. I had left my luggage on the bus and therefore, regrettably returned. I am sure the people in this little village would have given me a jacket and some blankets to stay longer. I knew I had missed a 'god given opportunity'(for some real inner rest & peace) when I was back on the bus. I plan to return to Woody Point and stay at the hostel next summer if possible, with a sleeping bag and transportation. Thanks Emma for your kindness.
