A gem of a hostel, YHA Bryn Gwynant is a Victorian mansion in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and set in large wooded grounds with stunning views over Llyn Gwynant and Snowdon. Walk from the hostel and take the scenic Watkin Path up Snowdon. Sygun Copper Mine and picturesque Beddgelert are also worth a visit. Evening meals available in our licensed restaurant.

Location was stunning and all the staff really friendly and approachable. The front door is locked and guests given a code, making you feel safe and your things secure.

It's cheap!! Lovely location, next to lake, beautiful view. We got double room so it's better as description (they offer 6 or more person in a room). Room was clean, close to bathroom and toilet; self catering, big kitchen to prepare food, few rooms to eat in, or eat in garden. Very nice atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff.

If you're deciding to climb Snowdon, great place. The start of Watkin's path is a five minute's walk away. Good view of a lake.
