I spent a few nights here with some friends last year. The hostel's main advantages are its low prices and its location – it's almost directly in the center of medieval Gdansk. It's only a 50-meter walk from the front door to the "Dluga," Gdansk's main tourist street. The bathrooms and showers are located centrally on each floor, offering about the same comfort and cleanliness as in other hostels. The hostel also offers rooms with indoor facilities at a higher price. As far I know, they do not serve breakfast, but you can easily find some in one of the many cafés (Kawiarna) on the "Dluga." The receptionists and staff I met in the hostel spoke Polish only. When you're in Gdansk, make sure you also visit Sopot (20 minutes away by train from the city center). — Andrzej (2004-10-01)
