The location is a little far from Old Town (4 km), but there are good connections by public transportation. This is an example of a building from the Soviet period, but the staff are kind and helpful. Each double room shares with another double room, and if you are looking for a cheap place I think this is a good option. A bar is available at this hostel for a reasonable service, and you can find a good supermarket just one foot from here.

Hmmm... This hostel was the cheapest I could find, but for a reason. A fair distance out of town meant there was no popping back for that forgotten camera. There was no kitchen, and I slept on an uncomfortable and narrow sofa-bed. If sleep and hot water is all you're after, this place is for you. It was quiet, too. Next door supermarket was also very handy.
