A dive at best
First night found bedbugs in my room. Second night more bedbugs in another room. Staff are liars, cheats, and aggressive. Avoid it like the plague.

Steer clear.
My Wife and I stayed here for seven nights in December 2007. The room was dirty, plaster was falling out from under the window, the room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there and nor were the towels. Breakfast was free but consisted only of cake and coffee. It may be fun for youngsters but the ones we spoke to weren't impressed. It's not cheap either so search around before booking here.

Well suited
Momo in fijian means 'Father in Law" -- that's why I always check in at the Hostel more than once (1991-1992,1994-1995,1998-1999, 2003-2004, and 2006-2007). Great service and sense of humour. Feels like home to me. Service with a smile!

Best place
We stayed there for two times (oct. 2006 and may 2007) with my son Thomas only for holy days. That was the best times in our life. Also we wish to come back always.

I stayed at Momo's 2001, 2002. Very very cool, going back there soon. If you ever travel Israel, Momo's is a must.

i stayed in momos in 1997 for about six months. the place is an absolute madhouse in the best possible way. momo is a diamond -- make sure you got your rent though. cant express how much fun i had here -- six months of the best time of my life even though i was skint. i left england with 10 english pound in my pocket to chase a girl -- ended up having time of my life. hope you enjoy it.

Momo's is the coolest and safest place to stay in Israel. Great security. Best Art of any hotel in the world. Great bar with really rockin' music. The staff really tries to make your time in Israel special.

Stayed here in '97 for about six months and it was an eye opener. This place was insane I and became friends with on the run legionares, armed robbers, mercenaries, and a corporate embezzler. Insanity ruled in this place and it was filthy but I wouldn't have changed it. Heard it's clean now though. Pity.

Stayed in momos back in 1999 for about eleven months. Maybe the best hostel you will find in tel aviv. Had a wicked time there, shame i got deported.

I stayed at Momos Hostel in sept '97 until May '98. I had a lot of fun there and met many exciting people. I stayed there again in July 2003 for one night just for old time sake.

Well, what a mad house! I worked here on and off for about two years 2000-2002 and it was brilliant. Its the best hostel in Tel Aviv as people are there for a while so you can build up decent friendships like I did and even met my husband of three years now! Momo is the best and even Chess wasn't that bad! Dying to get back.

I stayed here for two weeks in 1997. It's a good place to stay if you're after a bit of work. There was a lot of heavy drinking, football types staying all summer. Be wary of them. Don't know about food or breakfasts, never ate there.

I stayed and worked here for over a year about 3 years ago. the place when I arrived was pretty bad, but a lot of work was done to clean it. Easily the best in israel for work to fund yourself for a bit, and the owner is about the best guy you will meet on your travels!
