Description

Our house is a privat house. It is open for young people as well as for old people. There is a very friendly staff.You can reach the "Kurfürstendamm" / in the high of the "Gedächtniskirche"/ in about 10 minutes by foot. We have 2 Underground lines reachable in 2 minutes. There you can drive in 3 stations to the "Bahnhof Zoo".
We offer groups ( german speaking) a one hour virtual trip to Berlin. ( Its free of charge): We have two places for Internet surfing.
We have possibility for TV , to play Billiard , to play tabletennis.

Do not stay here!
I am in Berlin for one-and-a-half weeks for a conference. The conference recommended this place as it was near to the meeting site. The day I arrived I was extremely jet lagged and just wanted to lie down. They could not find my reservation at first. When they finally did they sent me to my room only to inform me an hour later that I had been put in the wrong room. Having moved to another room I tried to sleep that night but couldn't because there is no AC or fans and the house was very loud. Apparently this place doesn't care if teenagers run up and down the stairs all night long and blast stereos. The next day I came in only to find that I was being forced to move to yet another room. While moving my things I noticed that some of my personal items were missing. These were later recovered from the maids' quarters. The next night I was again told (not asked) to move. I am extremely disappointed in this hostel as is every other person with the conference who is staying here.

Stayed there for one week -- was all we needed. Very basic, food was nice, but not enough of it!
