Not very clean
The location is very good and central. Rooms/Toilets/Kitchen are not clean. Lot of bugs and insects. Accommodation is hard to find in Canberra so they can get away with it.

Totally average
Dont be mistaken into thinking this is a hotel -- its just a glorified hostel (i've stayed in nicer hostels). The rooms are way overpriced but there isn't much else in Canberra so you're stuck with it, it's never nice knowing you're being ripped off! the kitchen is totally basic and has no cups, people resorted to bringing their own. There is a TV so that's ok. There was a load of hair in the shower plug on the first day that was still festering there when i left. All in all it's ok and there's not much else anyway.

This was a great place to stay. It is the best deal in Canberra. Comfy beds, quiet rooms, great kitchen, and common area. Best location as you are right near all the bus lines. The pub downstairs is fun. Loved it!!

This place is really bad. After a couple of nights here I'd been so badly eaten by bedbugs I had to keep my arms covered up under long sleeves for weeks because I looked like some kind of junkie.

I stayed here last year and again this week. Big difference! It had all new carpets and was freshly painted. It looks great. It has friendly and helpful staff, and a very nice atmosphere. It's convenient for catching buses, too. It's worth the cost.

The City Walk was excellent. We stayed here for three nights and wished our Sydney hostel was more like it. It was very clean, had friendly staff, and the location is incredible--really, what more could you want? I'd readily spend my money here again if I'm ever in Australia again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was very clean, well managed, and located right in the heart of the city with excellent security. Well done, and keep it up!

The best thing about this place is the elevator! Do I need too say more?
