Very difficult access.
The hostel itself in general is good but it's located in a huge hill and there is no public transportation until there. The bus leaves you at the bottom of the hill and they are not clear about that in the website. Don't even think about going there walking with your bag or backpack.

Clean, fresh and spacious, just too far out
I loved green nest hostel, I just think it would be more suited to those wanting a quiet retreat in the quaint hills of San Sebastian. You cannot walk to the centre of town, it's at least a 30 minute bus trip and 15 minute taxi ride. This comes from an Aussie girl who thinks walking 20 mins to get to my local train station is nothing, and I live in Sydney! Our 6 share dorm was very clean, had a good spacious bathroom (although the shower was small and the shower head always fell off and whacked people in the face) and was access by keycard which felt extra secure. We also all had our own lockers, and there was a huge elevator to take you to and from your room to reception or to the rec area. the kitchen is 5 star and was huge, we cooked a great pesto pasta in there. plus they supplied alot of sauces and spices. We got so confused when trying to catch the bus for the first time to the city, as they said to follow the path straight to the bus stop, but we followed the only path we saw which was a winding road onto the freeway ... there is actually a path behind the hostel, and if they had made that more clear it would have been great as it's easy to follow. However, including the walk and then bus into the centre, it takes close to an hour all up to make a one way journey. Not the greatest, but we just relaxed and enjoyed the nature around us anyway. Only improvement would be to try and organize more activities in the huge spacious rec area, which had a great tv and tons of tables and chairs! it felt dead asides from us.
