Nice friendly easy going place. Cheerful staff ready to help at every turn. I spent a week there in November and will be back for a week in December. The Ani Motel is situated in a quiet area (I am told the best area by the locals) where the nearby buildings are mostly hostels or pensions. There are no discotheques or anything noisy that will rob you of any sleep. My room was clean and tidy -- what more can you ask for at what was a very reasonable rate. The typical Turkish breakfast was always ready without a wait and served with a smile. Breakfast is served on top of the building which has lovely views -- a great place to sit and plan your day. The motel is two minutes' walk from the dolmus/bus station. It is a five-minute walk to everywhere including the centre of town, the harbor, beaches or the new marina. The hostel also operates its own travel agency offering everything from day trips, diving, paragliding, scooter hire to boat trips. The entire area of Kas appeared to be very very safe -- a pleasure coming from London. I am definitely looking forward to my next trip.

This place rocks--great food, great service, great location! There is nowhere else in Europe where you can find this type of accommodation for as little as AU$10. Turkey in general rocks. Stop winging, all you tight arse backpackers.

It was dirty, and expensive, too. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The owner of the hostel was trying to make money out of anything. Dinner, he told us, was 15.00 Turkish lira for 2 people, and after dinner we had to pay for each meal. :(
