Overrated. Staff are nice enough but dorms are tiny and cramped, and bathrooms a pain to manoeuver in (showerhead over toilet -- 'nuff said). They turn the A/C too high, so it's really cold to sleep. Also, they were full so one night I had to stay in a single, which was a closet. literally. They converted a tiny broom closet into a room, with predictable results. The dorm room, the friendliness of the hosts and the backpackers — everything was great. They give free tours of Chinatown, and tropical fruit tasting. The hosts are extremely helpful and take the time to help with tourist advice, directions, etc.
Their prices are low — matching the competition. I'd stay here even if they raised the dorm price even by 50%.
