A fantastic youth hostel, in a very nice area, with excellent and friendly staff. A very pleasant atmosphere. The staff are friendly and organize anything you want, from bungee jumping (yes, 111 meters off the Vic Falls bridge seemed like a good idea from the comfort of the hostel) to elephant rides. The only very slight downside is that the top bunks beds are VERY high and don't have ladders, so if you're short, it's probably best to get a bottom bunk if possible! The lunch by the pool is highly recommended, as are the pancakes. There is a shady area fenced inside, and it is clean and the staff is very nice! The breakfasts are great too, just be sure to order the night before. Last time I stayed there (summer 2002) the Internet wasn't working, but there was an Internet cafe a few doors down.
