Ugly, Dirty, Too small, unfriendly
I went to this hostel with five other friends. We stayed in a small room. There is no place to sit in the room, neither in another place in the hostel. You must leave between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. because the unfriendly woman must clean. One shower and one dirty bathroom. Don't go there! Search another one.

What you actually get is not made clear at all. You are expected to pay in cash upon arrival, the staff understand very little English and the place is tiny. It consists of two very small dorms in which as many beds as possible have been packed, two dirty bathrooms and a small kitchen that is too dirty to use. There is no common area and you can't move once you get in there. There are no security lockers and I didn't feel happy about leaving my stuff there. On a good note, the linen is clean and it has a great location, but still it is definitely overpriced.

What is not made clear is when making an online reservation is that your credit card details are just for confirmation. Victoria expects to be paid in cash on arrival, so there was much confusion about whether or not we had paid! She understands very little English. The location of this hostel is great, but the rooms are small and there is no common area. Expect to be kept awake by partying foreigners just outside the bedrooms. Also, Victoria directed me to a very dirty bathroom on arrival, rather than the one she'd just cleaned! What's up with that?

The rooms are clean and not too tiny but the bathrooms are horrible. No loo roll and dirty, not even a proper shower curtain. The staff are friendly though and the location is good.

It is nice, but the kitchen is too small and not very well equipped. And the rooms are very small. A good thing is its location near the colosseo, and to have your own key to the gate. But I didn't get back my 5 euro deposit for the key, because early morning I left the place, the owner was not there...
