I selected the Pension because of its budget price, its location, and its character. I was really pleased to have an en suite bathroom and a three bed room to myself!Being able to come and go at any time was very useful too.I will definately be staying there again.

It's right next to the canal/moat with a garden, nice spot for a lazy afternoon. Breakfast was pretty good value.

The manager spoke NO English, and on our second night there, we were locked out by a gate, so I had to bang on a downstairs window until someone came down and was able to open a gate, so we could get into the gated area, and get to our rooms. Kind of strange to tell the truth. The manager did not seem friendly, so I didn't really make much contact with her.

Great location, shame about the rooms This hostel has an amazing location, right beneath the castle, next to the river and a few minutes walk from the central square. Reception is in the adjoining restaurant and they rent rowboats. The toilets and bathrooms were clean but the room I had was grubby. The bed was pretty poor too -- old bits of wood for slats under a slice of foam instead of a mattress. There was a great balcony looking over the river but no kitchen or other common area that I could find (or was told about). The staff seemed nice enough, but you don't see much of them once you have your keys. For location alone three-and-a-half out of five. If you don't like roughing it a little though, this probably isn't the place for you. — Tim , England (2009-09-03)
