Description
Kervan Hostel is a cozy hostel in the old quiet part of the city center.
It is about 3 minutes walking to the most famous cathedral in the Balkans - "St. Alexander Nevsky", the Opera House, the National Theater, many art galleries and museums.
In Kervan Hostel we care more for the comfort of our guests than for the crowded bedrooms. You can feel the domestic atmosphere with your first steps inside. A nice collection of old radios and maps will meet you in the corridor. In the Oriental style furnished kitchen you can drink a cup of coffee or tea, to chat with other guests or with local people, to prepare your meal. Or you can enjoy the afternoon in the rose garden.

Kervan hostel is in the centre of town, a little hard to find at first, but good atmosphere and a very friendly hostel owner, who has a little gift shop (wallets / bags etc) that uses recycled material - very cool!

It was in a nice location, very close to Alexander Nevsky cathedral and other sights, free Internet and free wifi was a major plus, and it was quite clean.

The property was full of character. the staff were helpful. It was really clean and tidy, and quite peaceful. Good place to relax, not so good on the meeting people and partying front.

Hi, I stayed at Kervan Hostel in January of 2004. I found the staff here extremely helpful and friendly. Actually, I found Sofia to be a warm and friendly city in general. I wish them every success for the future. — Alan - Australia (2005-02-27)
