Clean, central, and well equipped I stayed here in the spring of 2006. It was very quiet with only a few small school groups staying at that time. Nevertheless it was everything you need for a short stay -- clean large rooms, good facilities, helpful staff, and a great breakfast. Reasonably priced too. Although some may find it a little difficult to find (there's a small office in the side street if the courtyard is closed), it is central to all the main attractions, and all are accessible by foot. I'm generally wary when it comes to HI Hostels, but, this was a winner. And Quedlinburg (even if you have never heard of it or contemplated visiting) is really beautiful and worth the effort.
