I was here during the World Cup 2006. Made friends with a mad Frenchman. We ended up partying every night on the main parade in Berlin. They had a twenty-four-hour train service during the world cup -- not sure if that is all the time. But that allowed us back to Wansee pretty easily late at night. Wansee has great views over a lake -- it is also very close to Potsdam which has the awesome Scholss Sanssouci with pretty cool gardens and palaces. Nice rooms and en-suite showers -- toilets were communal -- that worked well at night as you don't disturb people. — Llewster , Australia (2007-04-04)
