Summary
Overall the Altstadt Hostel is clean, quiet, and safe -- a great place to stay in Lübeck, one of our favorite towns in Germany. There is so much to do and see, and everything is in walking distance -- from touring the many beautiful churches, wandering among the quaint neighborhoods, or visiting the Puppet Museum (which has the largest private collection in the world). Lübeck is a gorgeous town with lots of photo opportunities, good shopping, and plenty of restaurants.
