A massive HI hostel crawling with school children, that serves its purpose and not much more.
Pros
— Good included breakfast, with fruit, yogurt, variety of breads/cereals, meat and cheese.
— Rooms are large and feature lots of power points, chairs and desks, and lockers.
— Staff are helpful and mindful of trying to give backpackers a bit of space from the school kids, a big bonus!
Cons
— Absolutely huge with not many backpackers staying there to meet up with. Although it was nice to get a (dorm) room to myself for a few nights!
— It's a little way out of town and can be a bit hard to find when you first arrive and have no idea how the trams work. Easy once you've got the hang of it, however.
