HI - Bonn Hostel (With Cultural Experience)

Great hostel, beautiful surroundings, far from city center.
This hostel was great, it is located in the suburbs and is surrounded by a beautiful forest. A long bus ride (thirty-plus minutes or so) from the city center, but there is a night bus. For being a German HI hostel, it is was way superior to the rest of the HI hostels. Very friendly staff and it even has a little evening pub for a beer or just to hang out. My four-bedroom dorm had its own bath and was super clean and modern, I was the only one in the room! (it was winter). I would definitely stay here again. Bring soap for the washing machines in the basement.

I stayed at this Hostel with my exchange group in the middle of our stay in Germany. It was a pretty nice place. The staff were friendly and some of the rooms even had bathrooms inside of them, we lucked out. The one drawback was that it was a huuuuuge hike to get to the place and the bus did not run twenty-four hours a day. But all in all it was a nice and quiet hostel.

Nice youth hostel with friendly people. The stay was pleasant and the food great. There was a pub on the main floor (I think) which served nice and cheap drinks (beer cola, etc, nothing fancy). A little far from the actual city of Bonn (required a train ride), but it was worth the trip.
