Great
Stayed recently for a good few weeks and enjoyed my time there. Room was seen to everyday and the common room was cleaned before we woke up. Price was very good and about $25 cheaper per week than the other hostels. Recommend highly. Place was very busy so they must be doing something right!

This was the worst hostel I stayed in in Australia, really impersonal and not really clean. The kitchen was an absolute disaster -- much too small, nearly no equipment and really dirty. Moreover the kitchen opened not before 8 a.m., so that we couldn't have breakfast on our last day and nobody told us before (there was just a very small notice), though the staff did know we would leave early. It's was also quite noisy. So better spend a few dollars more and get a nice hostel in Brisbane!

I was going to stay in the city but they lost my reservation so i had no bed, I called these guys and although they don't pick you up it was extremely easy to get to by train. The staff were great and brought me a beer to relax me after my trauma (backpack is far too heavy) and it was a breeze to checkin. They don't deal with Oz experience so it was nice to not have to stand in line behind the sheep that follow that way of life. The room was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms (very weird in a hostel). Rooms were big and spacious and i met some great people there. They helped me look for work, fixed my flights so i could stay longer and helped me book into non-sheep mentality hostels further up thr coast. (Not like that City Hostel which i will tell all my friends to stay away from). Full recommend this one as i travel as it was well worth it.

I met my soul mate here, and we are about to marry in Ireland — so the place must be doing something right!!!

I was there for four days. It was dirty, and the Internet access is very expensive. It's not very friendly.

Great place to stay. Staff go out of their way to help. Rooms are very clean, and it's central to everything — the valley markets are awesome. The pub downstairs is also great and has live music. The kitchen is always being cleaned by staff. It's a little small, but the appliances all new. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay.

I was here for some weeks in May and June. It's great! I'll be back in Brisbane in January and I am going to spend some time here. The new staff are always helpful and they are improving day by day. I hope to meet people like Micky the driver again.

This hostel is a bit dingy but it is big and the staff are friendly and helpful. The washing machines on the first floor are always in use by management, which means you have to go upstairs all the time. The Internet is extremely expensive—$7 per hour—and the kitchen is really small with not enough utensils. Everyone wants to cook at the same time. Half the equipment does not work and there is an 8 o'clock curfew for the kitchen!! This place is okay for a short stay. Also, it gets really lively on weekends so be prepared to hear the music from the pub downstairs until all hours.

I stayed for 4 months. It has clean rooms with heating/air-conditioning. The staff went out of their way to give me a great holiday--great tours and informed, helpful staff. There are lots of improvements happening with the new management.

This place has a very friendly staff who are very keen to make you feel welcome. The facilities are very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend it to anybody, and I will be staying here again in one month. I am travelling in a group of eight, and we all think the same about this place.

It's a very dirty place: don't go there! The staff are unfriendly, and the kitchen is so disgusting you can't use it!

The rooms are large and clean, with basic bedding supplied, and each room has a fan. This place has the major bonus of having one of the best bars in the Fortune Valley area.
