Description
State capital and cathedral city on the river Elbe, Magdeburg is the region?s cultural centre. The youth hostel is located in the city centre close to the train station and has excellent transport links. It offers easy access to attractions such as the cathedral, the monastery, the "Green Citadel", created by the artist Hundertwasser, and the Alte Markt (old market).

Excellent! Clean, quiet hostel in city center. Rooms cleaned daily. Staff is friendly and gives good directions and recommendations. Clean shower/bath.
