This place really gives you that welcome to the USSR feeling -- long empty hallways and pre-glasnost bathrooms. That said, they have cheap double rooms and all the basics are there. Hence the basic grade. If you're traveling alone I suggest going to a real hostel if Pitr has it, but as a cheap hotel it is certainly okay. Location is great, by the way, not far from Nevsky Prospect.
