Description

Sights include Trondenes Church (about 1250) with its fine medieval art, and historical sights from the viking age and the 2nd world war. The tourist office organises boat and fishing tours, city walks, and midnight sun walks. Harstad has a number of art galleries and cultural activities. Visit the yearly music and art festival around mid summer.
