Description

Tourism in Balestrand builds upon long traditions. Good opportunities for fishing and mountain hiking. Balestrand has several art galleries and historical sights. The hostel has recently built an activity centre by the fjord. Aquariums, models and a slide show illustrate life in the Sognefjord. Folk music and outdoor activities, e.g. barbeque and fishing.
