Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge offers quality accommodation with cooking facilities along with powered caravan and camping sites under shady gum trees. Accommodation is well supported by our tavern/bistro, supermarket and the unforgettable Olde Alice Bar and Function Centre.
The Olde Alice regularly features a damper cooking display, live music and the 'Snake, Bake and Shake' show; a popular event where you will get to sing along to some 'Aussie' songs, taste Australian damper and kiss a real lizard.
Every evening 'Wild Black Footed Rock Wallabies' can be fed at the lodge - an absolute must - this unique activity is popular with guests of all ages.
Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge operates a free return downtown shuttle bus service from the Lodge 6 times daily.
An airport shuttle service is available at the cost of $8.00 one way or $15.00 return (children 0 - 14 years free of charge)

This hostel is fantastic. You have towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, milk and cold water, all supplied. It is one room with two bunks and a kitchen and bathroom. You have your own balcony with chairs. It is very clean and tidy — cleaners come every day. Although it is out of town there is a shuttle service, but there are also local amenities on site. The backdrop is great and little wallabies bounce past your room at night. There is air-conditioning all day, too.
