Budget accommodation -- basic facilities at a basic price Stayed here for a couple of nights in August. Great location. Oldish building, but properly serviced (clean) and with ok facilities. No staff on site (checkin at Port-O-Call Motel nearby) so no room or bed allocation -- just choose a room / bunk. Chopped wood and kindling on the veranda at back for fireplace in lounge -- not much other heating in the place. Good showers, but only two bathrooms in whole building. Fine for a short stay off-peak. — Dean , UK (2010-09-18) This hostel had the weirdest set-up ever... My male friend and I had to take the double bed which was in THE MIDDLE of the lounge, with open access (no doors) to the kitchen ,back door and walkways. — Claire (2006-10-13)
