It was great! Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very nice, with the fire and activity around the bar. We had a excellent time.

In terms of backpacker accommodations, I thought it was pretty good. It's clean, cheap, you get your own room and you're also very close to the bar.

I thought it was excellent value for money. The pub was fantastic. I had a great night and the food was really good.

I stayed at Derwent Bridge Wilderness Hotel this time last week. The accommodation was for two adults and two children. I really found the facilities inferior. I would say that the demand for quality accommodation is there, especially in peak seasons and unfortunately the hotel does not offer it in its B & B style accomodation. The whole experience reinforced to me as a potential visitor in future years that it is only a secondary hotel. Please Derwent Bridge Hotel you can do better than that. Lash out and spend a few extra dollars on your future!
