Comfortably delightful We came here after a really long hike in Freycinet and it was the nicest place ever. The staff were super friendly and the hostel itself was clean, comfy, and very homey.

I was immediately filled with warmth and relief upon entering Bicheno Backpackers! Paul was so keen to make me feel right at home, and the facilities were just perfect! By far the best hostel I have ever stayed in!!

The seven of us got the sea view side of this hostel and believe me, the views are stunning! We had dinner watching the beautiful sunset on the horizon and it was truly amazing! The hostel is clean, tidy and the staff members friendly and helpful. What more would you want for $20/night? Make sure you request the sea view side!

This is a great hostel; really friendly and with helpful management. The kitchens and showers are clean (although the showers were in the other building, next to the one I was staying in) and the room we had was spotless. I would definitely recommend this place, as well as Bicheno in general as a destination.
