A really nice place to stay, clean and comfortable, although the first impression you get is a bit chaotic.
The hostel's interior is quite colorful and has nice Gimmicks like the phone box located in the driver's cabin of an old Volkswagen van in the hall. Outside there are comfy sofas and plenty of room to socialize or sunbathe on the lawn. For bad weather there's a lounge room with a TV and video and DVD player and lots of free videos.
The rooms are spacious with bunk beds, sheets and blankets and cupboards. The kitchen in an extra building is clean, really big and well equipped. There are only two bathrooms and an extra toilet but as the hostel is quite small queues shouldn't become too long.
Dave, who runs, owns and lives in the hostel is a really nice guy, makes people feel at home immediately and can help to organize work. e also runs awesome canoe trips on the Murray river. The atmosphere at the hostel is absolutely relaxed and friendly.
To find the hostel walk straight down from the train station and turn left at the second traffic lights into David Street. You will recognize the hostel immediately by a flowery van parked right in front of it.
