I stayed here for one night and that was entirely too long. We arrived in Buenos Aires and couldn't even find the hostel at first because it was so poorly marked. By the time we found it and went inside, I was appalled by the conditions of the hostel. The ceilings and carpet were covered with mold and there was only one bathroom for both floors and it was mildly operational. It also seemed that we were the only actual backpackers in the hostel and everyone else was just living there. There were tons of dogs everywhere jumping on us in the hostel, too. Then by the time we decided to get into bed, we turned down the covers and the sheets were covered in hair and dirt. I have never stayed in a hostel as truly awful as this one. In fact, when we changed hostels the next day, the staff person there knew exactly where we had stayed and told us that she gets a lot of guests that are refugees of the Aventura Inn. — Anonymous (2005-07-08)

I absolutely loved this HOSTEL!!! I stayed there for a total of two weeks!! Everyone was like my family!!! The owners are so hip and beautiful!!! It's really an amazing place. I am sure you will love it!! Tell Mariela, the owner, that I sent you. Alex, la torta!! It means the lesbian in Argentina!!! — Alexandra (la Torta) (2005-02-26)

I stayed in this hostel for a week and had an excellent time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a really good location and the nightlife in the city is excellent! The only thing is it can get quite loud (from the people in the lounge area) so that might not be what you are looking for. If you don't mind a bit of noise then you shouldn't find it too bad. — Anonymous (2004-12-08)
